Around the world, few of us are taught the skills to navigate conflict effectively. This leads to division between people, groups, and nations that could often be prevented.
Harmonic Mediation Society is a not-for-profit created to spread skills based in Nonviolent Communication (NVC) conflict resolution to connect people during disagreement of any type so they can understand each other and find solutions that account for everyone’s needs.
Our hope is that as more people learn these skills, harmonious and connecting communication will become the norm.
We’re committed to sustainably making practical social change products, programs, and services accessible to all, irrespective of socioeconomic or cultural backgrounds, so more people experience the transformative outcomes of NVC-based consciousness, communication, and conflict resolution.
Building Harmony:
We empower people with the tools to transform challenging dialogues, polarized viewpoints, and conflicts of all types into opportunities for deeper connection, shared understanding, mutual respect, and strategies that care for everyone’s needs.
We introduce these skills through programs built and marketed to solve problems people regularly experience in different areas of life, like at home and at work, while supporting them with workshops, communication kits, support groups, and individual assistance as needed.
Creating Abundance:
We increase the awareness of professions based in NVC and grow the number of people capable of thriving while contributing to social change.
Our HMS certification program can empower anyone with NVC Mediation skills contribute to the social change mission of HMS by professionally applying their skills. We plan to help our members financially flourish without the burden of marketing, sales, or managing technology, so they can focus on contributing through their passion.
Our wish is for everyone to become the Harmonic Mediator of their own lives and to have the skills to help those around them.
