Volunteer / Work Opportunities

Get involved with HMS and help our mission to reduce conflict in the world.

Currently, we are getting things off the ground. With our advertising starting to work, we may suddenly find ourselves needing volunteers, and we hope to turn those volunteer positions into paid positions. If you are interested in volunteering or working with us, please join our mailing list and watch for updates.

Here are the positions we expect to need help with initially:

1) Facebook group moderation

Monitor the group, approve members, collect questions for us to answer, remove posts that do not follow our guidelines, etc.

2) Appointment bookers

Use your NVC skills to empathize with people who need help, share solutions we offer, and to book them with mediators. (Training will be provided.)

In addition, if you are familiar with finding and applying for grants in Canada, or setting up a not-for-profit charity in the U.S.A, please get in touch. These are next on our to-do-list after we get things running as we currently have them structured.
